Calvary (the Way of the Cross)
Along the slope in the south part of the town freestanding chapels follow one another in the landscape, the 14 stations of the Way of the Cross. This is the famous Mali Lošinj Kalvarija.
The chapels were built in the eighteenth century. They were completed and ceremonially consecrated in 1752, during Lošinj's sudden prosperity, when the „Small Village“ was turning into a town.

The fountain on the square depicts two dolphins that spew fresh water coming from the Vrana Lake. The waterworks was completed on April 24th, 1960 and this project ended one of the hard chapters in the book of islands without running water. The fountain is made by master sculptor Vinko Matković from Rijeka.

The monument to Ambroz Haračić
Ambroz Haračić (1855 - 1916), a Croatian botanist, studied mathematics and natural sciences in Vienna and taught at the Maritime School in Mali Lošinj where he conducted meteorological measurements and observations over a period of 18 years. On the basis of his data, the government in Vienna proclaimed Mali Lošinj a climatic health resort in 1892. This marked the beginning of the development of tourism on the island of Lošinj.
