Gentle weather conditions, abundant sunny days throughout the year, and diverse Mediterranean vegetation make Lošinj an almost perfect island for beekeeping. The main bee pasture on Lošinj is the healing sage (Salvia officinalis), a kind of queen among medicinal herbs, imparting a unique flavour and texture to our honey.
The Novak family has nurtured the tradition of beekeeping and honey production for over 30 years. The quality of the Novak family's products has been recognized by experts, with their sage honey winning a gold medal for quality at the 2nd International Mediterranean Farmers' Event 'Intrada Split 2016.'

The Novak family has been nurturing the tradition of beekeeping and honey production for over 30 years. 
Their olive oil, of exceptional quality, was honoured with a silver medal for its excellence at the 13th International Mediterranean Olive Growers' Event 'Maslina 2016.'
Additionally, their sage honey, a product of their expertise and dedication, was awarded a gold medal for its quality at the 2nd International Mediterranean Farmers' Event 'Intrada Split 2016.'
