St. Gregory of Spoleto is a martyr from the first centuries of Christianity. In the Roman Martyrology, his martyrdom is recorded on 12/24/303. year, and in Veli Lošinj it is celebrated on July 7, the day the saint's bones were transferred to the parish church, back in 1663. To the gathered believers, Father Bishop spoke about the martyrdom and greatness of this saint who, despite the terrible torments he was subjected to, did not renounce his faith in Jesus Christ.
