In addition to the permanent exhibition on the life and work of Andrija Linardić from Martinšćica, owner of the essential oil factory since 1903 in Martinšćica and the world's first producer of immortelle essential oil, the museum space is enriched with ethnological exhibition of our region and an exhibition of traditional fishing tools, opened as part of the event called ‘Creski kajić’.
In the museum run by the Magriž Association a film ‘Samo jedna kapljica - Čitav oblak miomirisa’ (Just One Drop - A Whole Cloud of Fragrance) will be screened every night from 21:00 to 22:00, a documentary film made by the Magriž Association with the help of director Sanjin Badurina and successfully presented at the Apoxyomenos Museum in October 2021.
The film was shot in Croatian, translated into four foreign languages and according to the weekly program, it will be shown on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in German, Thursdays and Fridays in Italian, Saturdays in English and Sundays in French. The film is available in all languages in the museum space on DVD and adaptive wooden USB.
The Andrija Linardić Museum was opened two years ago. Last year alone, during the tourist season, in 100 days of its operations, it had 1101 registered visits, and this year, with the screening of a historical film shot in the area of Cres and Lošinj, a much larger visit is expected.
The museum has been run exclusively by volunteers from the Magriž Association from Martinšćica.
The Andrija Linardić Museum in Martinšćica is open every day from 20:00 to 22:00.
Larger tourist groups are also welcome with prior notice.
