The Tourist Society in Mali Lošinj began its activities on March 28, 1887, when its members welcomed and accompanied the Austrian heir to the throne, Prince Rudolf, on his ascent to Osoršćica. To commemorate this event and to mark 140 years of tourism on Lošinj, a conference on sustainable tourism titled “Lošinj 140 – A Story That Continues; From a Climate Health Resort to the First Green Destination in the Mediterranean” will be held on March 28, 2025.
