From July 3 to 5, 2025, the two Adriatic shores – between Venice, Pula, and Mali Lošinj – will be connected by the "Gran Tour del Mare" regatta, held in honor of Admiral Agostino “Tino” Straulino, born in Mali Lošinj, commander of the Italian Navy’s training ship Amerigo Vespucci, Olympic gold medalist, and sailing legend.

The event will kick off on July 3 at the Arsenale in Venice with an opening celebration and a dinner featuring top local food and wine. Departure is scheduled for 11:00 PM, with overnight sailing. Arrival in Pula is expected on July 4, where a large celebration and dinner will be held at the Pula Marina. The "Ammiraglia" regatta will conclude on July 5 in beautiful Mali Lošinj, with a route passing by the island of Susak and a spectacular event at the town's main square.
