Located on the stunning islands of Cres and Lošinj in Croatia, HIGHLANDER Lošinj will take place from January 24th to 25th, 2025.
The trail begins in the historic town of Osor on the island of Cres, a place where centuries of culture converge. From there, hikers will cross the Kavuada channel, a site steeped in history, before venturing into the rugged karst landscapes of Lošinj.
Climbing the trail to the Osoršćica ridge, participants will tackle two iconic peaks – Sv. Nikola (557 m), crowned with a charming chapel, and Televrina (588 m), the island's highest peak. From these vantage points, panoramic views of the Kvarner Bay provide a breathtaking reward. At the checkpoint, hikers will enjoy a diverse festival program, including a hiking workshop, music, and massages.
The adventure continues with a visit to Polanža, a Bronze Age fortress perched on a hill near Ćunski, and concludes with a serene coastal walk from Ćunski to Cape Vila. The path winds through dramatic rocky terrain and tranquil coves. At every step, participants will experience the raw power of nature and the peacefulness of the Adriatic coast.
