Thanks to the efforts made by the management of the Rijeka Airport in cooperation with its co-owners, the Primorsko-Goranska County, the City of Rijeka, the Omišalj County and related tourist associations, following the introduction of regular year-round flights to Split, Dubrovnik and Osijek, this winter also brought new year-round Rijeka- Köln international flight.
Tickets may be purchased on the Eurowings website (
www.eurowings.com). The first flight leaves Köln on November 10th, 2017 at 12:35 PM and leaves Rijeka on the return flight the same day at 02:40 PM. Throughout the entire winter period (from November 10th, 2017 to March 21st, 2018), the mentioned flight is taken place twice per week, on Sundays and Fridays (November 10th, 2017 – December 1st, 2017 and January 12th, 2018 – February 16th, 2018), as well as on Sundays and Wednesdays (December 6th, 2017 – January 3rd, 2018 and February 21st, 2018 – March 21st, 2018).
Taking into consideration the increasing number of activities and events the island of vitality prepares for its guests, the possibility of winter flights from Germany to the Rijeka Airport also represents an easier and faster transfer to Lošinj throughout the year. Once they arrive in Rijeka, visitors may travel to the Island of Lošinj by bus, car or airplane.
Lošinj has its own
airport equipped for both domestic and international flights. Visitors have the option to experience panorama flights and use air taxis. The Lošinj Airport is located at a distance of around 96 km from the Rijeka Airport, and 6 km from the City of Mali Lošinj.
