The main square in Mali Lošinj will transform into the center of entertainment, with live music, a cheerful atmosphere, and a sense of togetherness to brighten the end of 2024 and welcome the New Year with smiles and dancing. The beautifully decorated and illuminated town square, Jasice and Advent candles on the square near the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the festive street lighting on Bardina Street, and the offerings of local Lošinj producers at the “Christmas Market” are just a part of this year’s Advent charm. Festivities will also extend to the sandy island of Susak, Nerezine, and Veli Lošinj, making this holiday season a special reason to visit Lošinj.

"Community for the Community"

A distinctive feature of Lošinj Advent for the past fifteen years is its humanitarian focus. Organizations like "Our Children" Society, "Hand in Hand" Association, Rotary Club Lošinj, Football Club Lošinj, Josip Kašman Brass Band, and others are joining forces to raise funds through various actions and auctions, donating proceeds for humanitarian purposes to support the local community.

Big and small, professionals, amateurs, and even pets are welcome at the second charity race, “Christmas Run – From Square to Square”. The race starts at the main town square in Mali Lošinj and ends at the square near the Parish Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Students’ Night with Dubioza Kolektiv and Hiljson Mandela!

This year’s unforgettable Students’ Night on Lošinj will take place on Friday, December 27. Lošinj will become the center of entertainment with spectacular performances by Dubioza Kolektiv and Hiljson Mandela. Known for their energetic performances and unique sound, Dubioza Kolektiv will dazzle the audience, while one of Croatia’s top rap artists, Hiljson Mandela, will elevate the atmosphere with his hits. This vibrant and rhythm-filled evening on Lošinj is not to be missed!

A daily program of music and entertainment will enrich this year’s Advent offerings, featuring local bands, vocal groups, DJs, and artists such as JOLE, Fiesta Band, Swingers, Face Group, Tamburica Ensemble Prijatelji Vrbovec, Group Joy, Gearbox, and more. Islanders and their guests will ring in the New Year with high-energy hits and a fantastic atmosphere guaranteed by the Night Express Band.
